Community Supported Agriculture
The CSA membership at Redwood Roots Farm entails a season-long commitment between shareholders and the farmers. We offer a wide diversity of vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers that are grown with the best of all possible sustainable farming practices.
We have four share options to choose from: Early Winter U-Pick, Late Winter U-Pick, Main Season, and Flower U-Pick Share. To learn more about what each share entails, read below!
To sign up for a share that is listed as available, please print a Shareholder Commitment Form and send it in with the required deposit.
We are currently accepting Commitment Forms for our Early Winter U-Pick, Late Winter U-Pick, and 2024 Main Season and Flower U-pick shares.

Share Options
Early Winter U-pick Share
November - January (3 months)
• $225 (Deposit $25) • No split shares.
This share is for those of you who want access to farm-fresh produce on the “off season” and aren’t afraid of mud! It offers winter favorites like Brussels sprouts, sprouting broccoli, frost-kissed greens (chard, kale, collards) as well as fennel and bok choi. During the first half, lettuce and spinach will be available in the field and during the second half it will be cut for you from the hoop houses, along with carrots, turnips, and beets. Once oriented, you can come any day and any time.
Main Season Share
June - October (20 weeks)
• $625 for Full Share • $375 for Half Share
(Deposit $50)
This share offers the full complement of what we grow, from veggies to flowers to herbs. We focus on the staples of lettuce, greens, broccoli, potatoes, onions, carrots, and other familiar vegetables, but offer seasonal specialties like bok choi and arugula early on; tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and beans at the height of the season; and fall favorites like winter squash and apples. Also included in this share are farm-favorite U-pick flower bouquets. Shares are distributed on Wednesdays at the farm, from 2:30- 6:30pm and Thursdays from noon- 6:00pm.
Late Winter U-pick Share
February - April (3 months)
• $225 (Deposit $25) • No split shares.
This share begins immediately after the Early Winter U-pick Share. All of the outdoor crops will be available for u-pick: sprouting broccoli, chard, kale, collards, leeks. The bulk of the share will be grown in the hoop houses and the farmers will pick these for you. These crops include: lettuce, spinach, bok choi, turnips, carrots, peas, beets, cilantro, and more. Once oriented, you can come any day and any time.
Flower U-Pick Share
July - October • $120 for 8 bouquets
(Deposit $25)
This share is for the flower lover who wants the unique experience of picking bouquets from the farm's magical flower garden. We grow 20-25 familiar and unusual varieties of annual cut flowers as well as the ever-stunning dahlia garden. Once oriented, shareholders are welcome at the farm any day and time to pick bouquets!
The full share is intended to provide a week's supply of produce for 2-4 people. Single people often sign up for a half share or find a "veggie pal" with whom to split the full share.
Payments can be made in the form of cash or check, dropped off at the farm or sent in the mail. We also accept EBT. Contact us if you'd like to use your EBT to purchase a share or have any questions about your payment. Thank you!
